Rayyan
Rayyan is a recent graduate from the Master of Physical Therapy from Western University after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary.
Throughout his training, Rayyan has gained experience across a variety of settings, including private practice for clients with musculoskeletal injuries, home-based rehabilitation and pediatric orthopedic rehabilitation for an international placement in Tanzania. These experiences have shaped him to be patient-centered, compassionate, and thorough with his approach to physiotherapy.
Rayyan believes that effective rehabilitation begins with listening and taking the time to understand each person’s symptoms, goals, and everyday challenges. His focus is to develop treatment plans that are tailored to what matters the most to patients. Combining evidence-informed exercise and education, he helps clients get a better understanding of their condition and regain confidence in movement. This is combined with manual therapy to help manage symptoms and improve mobility, supporting the rehabilitation process.
With a background in Kinesiology and a longstanding interest in strength training and sport, Rayyan especially enjoys helping active individuals recover from injuries and improve their physical performance.
Outside of the clinic, Rayyan enjoys working out at the gym, engaging in outdoor activities like hiking and camping, and following soccer and combat sports.
